What is ClimbingComp?

ClimbingComp gathers the climbing competitions, contests, open days and achievements in France on one map and in one calendar. Each event has its own page: date, time, place and registration link, plus the major international competitions. Gyms and organisers can submit their events for free, without creating an account.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a climbing competition near me?
On the map, move to your area then pick a radius, from 10 to 500 km around the centre of the map: only the events within that distance stay displayed. The calendar lists the same events date by date, with filters by type, dates and cash prize.
What is the difference between a competition and a contest?
A competition belongs to the official circuit (French cups and championships, international events): you have to register, and often hold a licence. A contest is run by a gym and open to everyone, with no licence and no federation ranking.
How do I add my event?
With the "Submit an event" form, in a few minutes and without creating an account: your gym (or the address), the date and a registration link are enough. The event appears on the map once it has been checked.
Are the events checked?
Yes. Competitions come from the official calendars of the French mountaineering and climbing federation (FFME) and of World Climbing. Contests and open days are submitted by gyms or taken from their announcements, and every submission is reviewed before it is published.
Which regions are covered?
All of France, mainland and overseas. A few events in Belgium and the major international competitions are added: World Cups, European and Asian championships.
